Key Topics Discussed

The board discussed several important topics aimed at making the academy’s education and training even better. One of the main points was improving the quality of training programmes. The goal is to equip police officers with advanced skills that will help them serve the community more effectively.

The board also reviewed various training courses that the academy is running in partnership with both local and international institutions. These collaborations aim to boost knowledge sharing and give police personnel access to the latest practices in policing.

Enhancing Student Admissions

Another key topic was making the student admission process smoother for both bachelor’s and postgraduate programmes. The board explored ways to make registration faster and more efficient by using new technology. This will make it easier for students to apply and help the academy keep up with modern standards.

Emergency Medicine and Regional Certification

The board was updated on the progress of the academy’s emergency medicine courses. The academy has now been certified as a regional centre for these courses. This certification is part of a larger plan to make sure police personnel are better prepared to handle emergencies, following global best practices.

Supporting National Talents

The meeting also included discussions on how to support and develop talented Emirati individuals. The goal is to encourage more local talents to join the police force and contribute to the academy’s growth.
