One of the main decisions made at the meeting was promoting Eng. Salem Hamed Al Abdooli, who was the Director of the Projects Department at the Sharjah Department of Housing (SDH). He was promoted to the position of "Department Director" under the Sharjah Government’s special jobs system. He will now be the Director of the department.

The Council also made an important decision about traffic violations in Sharjah. According to this decision, traffic violations recorded by the Sharjah Police will be removed if 10 years have passed since the violation. However, there will be a fee of AED 1,000 to apply for this waiver. There are some exceptions to this fee, including when the vehicle owner has passed away, if the vehicle owner has been living outside the country for more than 10 years, or if the vehicle has been abandoned and the owner cannot be found.

The meeting also discussed changes suggested by the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) to the draft law about the judicial authority in Sharjah. The Council decided to send the updated draft to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, for approval before it becomes law.

Another important topic was the growth of the aviation sector in Sharjah. The Council discussed how Sharjah’s environment and its various services and facilities have helped the aviation industry grow. They also talked about future plans to make Sharjah even more important in the aviation field.

The meeting also reviewed a report on the Sharjah Training Centre for Airport Sciences. This centre offers accredited training programs recognized both locally and internationally. The programs cover areas like aviation, air transport, and security. The report highlighted the centre’s facilities, which include simulators, training rooms, labs, testing rooms, a conference hall, and classrooms. It also explained how the centre worked hard to get official certifications for its training programs.
