Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, who is in charge of the Ruler’s Office, opened the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition "ACRES 2025" on Wednesday. This event was supported by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The exhibition is being held at the Expo Centre Sharjah from January 22 to 25.
The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, working with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, organized the exhibition. After cutting the ribbon, Sheikh Salem walked around the exhibition. He visited different booths and saw the latest real estate projects and ideas presented by companies from the UAE and other countries.
Sheikh Salem checked out the newest real estate projects, like homes, offices, and factories. He also met with important groups like the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, Sharjah Digital Department, and Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). The exhibition showed new housing, business spaces, and land for investment.
This year, the exhibition has more than 110 companies, a 17% increase from last year. Real estate companies from the UAE and other countries are participating. Developers from Egypt are also showing investment opportunities in Egypt.
The event includes workshops, training, and talks in Arabic and English. These cover topics like investing, market changes, laws, and how to build better, more eco-friendly cities. The talks are led by professionals in the field.
The exhibition also offers special deals. People can pay lower fees for real estate deals made during the event. Developers will pay 0.5%, UAE and GCC nationals will pay 1%, and others will pay 2%. This is to help Sharjah’s real estate market grow.
At the opening, many important people joined, including Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah Digital Department (SDD), Sheikh Majid bin Faisal Al Qasimi, First Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and other leaders.
Overall, ACRES 2025 is a great event where people can see new real estate projects, meet experts, and learn about Sharjah’s growing real estate market. It gives new chances for businesses and investors.
