Khider Adil, an employee in Abu Dhabi, opted to work from home due to hazardous conditions, emphasizing concerns for personal safety and road visibility. Similarly, architect Shaima Abou Alsaad, residing in Sharjah and working in Dubai, highlighted the challenges faced in professions requiring in-person meetings. While advocating for flexibility, some employees, like healthcare worker Mahra A, acknowledged the necessity of physical presence in certain roles. Dissatisfaction with office attendance during adverse weather was expressed on social media platforms, underscoring the disparity between private and government sector practices.

Despite challenges, individuals like Hisham, engaged in critical operations like Aman, understood the importance of physical presence during emergencies. As private sector employees continue to push for equitable remote work opportunities, meteorological authorities forecast improved weather conditions, offering some respite from the challenges posed by the recent bout of instability.
