Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his sadness on Friday about the tragic accident between two planes in Washington DC. The crash involved an American Airlines passenger jet and an Army helicopter. Sadly, all 64 people on board the passenger plane were likely killed in what could be one of the worst air accidents in the United States in almost 25 years.

On social media, Modi said, "I am deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the tragic accident in Washington DC. My heartfelt condolences go to the families of the victims. We stand with the people of the United States during this time."
The crash happened when the American Airlines flight was getting ready to land near Washington DC. The accident is one of the deadliest air tragedies the United States has faced in a long time.
In his message, Modi expressed support for the grieving families and said that India stands with the United States in this difficult time.
