The meeting focused on the Ministry of Education’s role in designing and implementing evidence-based economic development policies. Both ministers also underscored the importance of bridging gaps across various sectors, highlighting the national framework aimed at fostering constructive partnerships among the relevant stakeholders.

Mashat explained that the Ministry of Planning is dedicated to achieving development objectives across different sectors, utilizing international cooperation mechanisms to mobilize resources and technical support. She emphasized the need to improve public investment efficiency and governance in the current fiscal year’s budget to meet the country’s goals, including providing opportunities for the private sector and managing inflation rates.

Minister Abdel Latif discussed the Ministry of Education's focus on delivering high-quality education to students, especially given the government's prioritization of the education sector. He highlighted several solutions and mechanisms that were implemented at the start of the academic year to address challenges facing the sector.

The meeting also included a review of the Ministry of Education’s investment plans, which align with the broader national program for structural reforms aimed at supporting Egypt's economic capacity. Both sides agreed on the need for continued collaboration to ensure sustainable and balanced growth for the country.
