Passenger dies mid-air on Air India flight from Delhi to Lucknow

A tragic incident took place on an Air India flight (AI2845) traveling from Delhi to Lucknow on Friday. A passenger named Asifullah Ansari was found unresponsive after the plane landed at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport around 8 a.m.

According to reports, the passenger reportedly passed away while the flight was still in the air. After the aircraft touched down, the cabin crew immediately tried to wake him up but received no response. Medical professionals who were present on the flight examined him and confirmed that he was no longer alive.

Authorities have stated that the exact cause of death will only be known after the postmortem report is released. Meanwhile, a spokesperson from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport shared that the passenger was already feeling unwell when he arrived in Lucknow. As soon as the flight landed, he was given first aid and then transported to a hospital in an Advanced Life Support ambulance. Sadly, despite medical efforts, he could not be saved and passed away at the hospital.

This unfortunate incident has left fellow passengers and crew members deeply shocked. More details are expected once the postmortem examination is completed.
