Apple Announces $99 Million New Clean Energy Fund in China

Apple Inc. said on Monday that it will start a new clean energy fund in China worth 720 million yuan ($99.22 million). The came as Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, visited Beijing.

Apple said this fund will help increase clean energy use in China. It is part of the company’s bigger plan to make sure all its suppliers use 100% clean energy by 2030.
