The government of Pakistan started a new group called the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC). This group will help make rules and bring digital money into the country’s money system. The Finance Office shared this news in a statement on Monday.

Last month, Pakistan made this council to help with things like blockchain (a system that stores digital information safely) and digital money. Bilal Bin Saqib, a young businessman, was already chosen as the main helper of the Finance Minister for this group.

Zhao came to Pakistan and met with the Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and other top leaders. He also met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

Finance Minister Aurangzeb said this is a very big moment for Pakistan. “We are showing the world that Pakistan is ready to try new ideas,” he said. “With Zhao’s help, we want to make Pakistan a strong place for digital money and new technology.”

Bilal Bin Saqib said Pakistan is now stepping into the future. “Zhao changed how people see money. He built the biggest digital money company. He is the best person to help us grow,” he said.

Zhao will now give advice to the council. He will help with things like rules, building systems, teaching people, and helping more people use digital money. He will work with both the government and private companies to make a fair and safe system for everyone.

In his statement, Zhao said he sees great promise in Pakistan. “There are 240 million people here. Most of them are young. The future is bright,” he said.
