In 2024, Msheireb Downtown Doha became one of the most popular places in Qatar. More than 15 million people visited, which is a big increase from the 9 million who came in 2023. This shows that the area is becoming more and more popular. The trams were also busy, with 1 million people riding them this year.

Msheireb Downtown has a lot of things to do for everyone. There are cultural events, exhibitions, and fun activities for families. One special event was Qatar National Day celebrations in December. On December 18, 119,727 people visited, which is 18 percent more than last year. The celebrations lasted from December 17 to 21 and attracted 380,891 visitors, a 13 percent increase from 2023. The trams were very busy too, with 5,168 riders during the celebration period, 24 percent more than last year.
Dr. Hafiz Abdullah, who works for Msheireb Properties, was happy with the results. He said, "The big turnout for Qatar National Day shows what we want to offer at Msheireb Downtown. We aim to make it a friendly place for families and host events that bring people together. The increase in visitors and parking shows that more people like coming here."
Throughout 2024, Msheireb Downtown Doha became the main place for celebrations and events in Qatar. It hosted many important events like the AFC Asian Cup, Ramadan, Eid, and Qatar National Day. It also held cultural activities, making it an exciting place to visit.
The location, modern facilities, and many entertainment options made it the best spot for people to enjoy major events. The Downtown can host both big celebrations and small cultural gatherings, which made it a lively place in the center of Doha.
In 2025, Msheireb Downtown will continue to host exciting events. One event is Hosh Msheireb at The Company House Courtyard, running from January 2 to 31. Visitors can enjoy a cozy winter retreat with outdoor seating, fire pits, hot drinks, and snacks. There will also be a special reading corner for kids, in partnership with Qatar Reads, where they can enjoy books.
Other events include the Qatar Investment and Innovation Conference on January 15, and the Candy Zone Festival at Sahat Al Nakheel from January 23 to February 1. The Downtown will also have Downtown Tech on January 30 and 31, and Qatar National Sports Day on February 11.
During the winter season, Msheireb Downtown will also host the Mal Awal exhibition at Sahat Al Nakheel, showing the history of video games. The exhibition will be open until April 10, 2025, and has already attracted many visitors.
Additionally, there will be performances by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra at Msheireb Downtown on February 14, 15, and 19. There will also be special Iftar and Suhoor events for Ramadan on February 29 and March 28.
