The MEBAA Show, the most important event for business aviation in the Middle East and North Africa, will start tomorrow, 10th December, at Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International Airport. This three-day event will bring together visitors from over 95 countries and show Dubai’s growing role as a world leader in business aviation. The aviation industry is growing fast, and this year’s MEBAA Show is all about new ideas, solving problems, and building the future of aviation.
Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi, the Executive Chairman of the Middle East & North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA), said that this year’s show is special because it’s the tenth edition. He said, “This show shows how much the business aviation industry has grown in our region. We have more participants than ever before and new ways to share ideas and create partnerships. This event helps leaders shape the future of aviation and makes the Middle East an even more important global aviation hub.”
This year, the MEBAA Show will have more than 145 companies t aking part, with over 65 companies joining for the first time. This is the largest number of new participants in the show’s history. Big names in the industry, like Chapman Freeborn, Empire Aviation Group, Honeywell International, Jet Aviation, and Gulfstream, will showcase their products and services. These companies will provide many opportunities for networking and learning about the newest trends in aviation.

Paras P. Dhamecha, the Founder of Empire Aviation Group, said that the MEBAA Show is a great chance to meet people in person and build strong connections. “Private aviation is all about trust and relationships,” he said. “The MEBAA Show gives us a chance to meet our clients, partners, and new people face-to-face. It’s also a perfect place to explore new innovations and support Dubai’s vision of becoming the aviation capital of the world.”
The MEBAA Show will also have exciting launches, new deals, and talks from more than 55 top speakers. Topics will include the future of business aviation, how to make aviation more environmentally friendly, and the role of young leaders in shaping the industry. Speakers include David Van Den Langenbergh from Luxaviation Group, Joanne Goodall from TAG Aviation Europe, and Kurt Edwards from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC).
One of the main attractions of the MEBAA Show is the static display, where 30 aircraft from major companies like Airbus, Boeing, Dassault Aviation, Bombardier, and Gulfstream will be showcased. Some of these planes will be displayed for the first time at the event, giving visitors a chance to see the latest advancements in aviation.
Youssef Mouallem, an executive at Vista, explained why MEBAA is so important. “In the Middle East, private aviation is not just a luxury—it’s a key tool for businesses. The MEBAA Show allows us to meet clients, understand their needs, and show how our planes and services can help them. This event helps us connect with new people and strengthens our place in the aviation industry.”
This year’s show will also feature new platforms, such as the Startup Hub, where startups can showcase their innovations, and the Advanced Air Mobility Pavilion, which will present cutting-edge eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) technology. The Luxury Boulevard, sponsored by Falcon, will display high-end brands alongside luxury jets, adding a touch of elegance to the event. Students interested in aviation can take part in the Next Gen Leaders platform, which offers interactive sessions to help them explore future careers in business aviation.
The MEBAA Show is also focused on building partnerships and creating opportunities for collaboration. Programs like the Operators Programme, sponsored by Saudia Private Aviation, and the Platinum Guest Programme, sponsored by Falcon, are designed to connect people and create lasting relationships. The MEBAA Connect app, powered by artificial intelligence, will help attendees schedule meetings, find new contacts, and keep track of event activities.
The MEBAA Show 2024 is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Airline. Major partners for this year’s show include 4Air, Air BP, JETEX, Saudia Private Aviation, and others.
As the MEBAA Show prepares to open its doors, it promises to be an exciting event full of new ideas, great networking opportunities, and a chance to shape the future of business aviation in the Middle East and beyond.
