The highly anticipated 71st Miss World pageant, set to unfold today on March 9, 2024, marks a significant moment as India plays host after 28 years. Taking place at the prestigious Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai, this event holds immense cultural and global significance. Miss India World 2022 winner, Sini Shetty, is poised to represent India, with Miss World 2023 titleholder, Karolina Bielawska, set to crown her successor.
A distinguished panel of 12 judges has been announced for this year's Miss World pageant. Among them are renowned Bollywood actors Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde, along with prominent personalities such as CEO of Miss World Organisation Julia Evelyn Morley CBE, Amruta Fadnavis, Sajid Nadiadwala, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, and India TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma, among others. Additionally, the panel includes three former Miss World titleholders, whose identities are yet to be revealed.
For those eager to witness this grand event, the Miss World 2024 finale will be broadcast live from the Jio World Convention Centre at 7:30 pm IST (2 pm GMT). Viewers can catch the live stream on SonyLiv, ensuring global access to the crowning moment.
