Britain's King Charles made a private visit to Bengaluru, accompanied by Queen Camilla, where they stayed at a renowned integrative medical facility known for its holistic health offerings. The visit, which lasted three days, took place at the **SOUKYA** International Holistic Centre in Samethanahalli, near Whitefield. This facility is celebrated for its rejuvenative treatments, including yoga, meditation sessions, Ayurveda, and Naturopathy.

Sources confirmed that during their stay, the royal couple engaged in various wellness treatments designed to enhance their health and well-being. Their morning routine incorporated yoga sessions, and they adhered to a special diet aligned with their wellness programs. Long walks around the expansive 30-acre campus and visits to the facility's organic farm were also part of their activities.
This trip marks King Charles's first return to Bengaluru since his coronation as King of the United Kingdom on May 6 last year. The couple has previously stayed at this health centre, with one notable visit occurring in 2019 when King Charles celebrated his 71st birthday there. The centre is operated by Dr. Issac Mathai, who had the honor of being one of the few individuals from India invited to the King’s coronation.
King Charles has long been an advocate for Ayurveda and natural health practices. In April 2018, during a visit to the UK, he joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Science Museum in London to inaugurate a new Ayurvedic Centre of Excellence, which aims to establish a global network for evidence-based research in yoga and Ayurveda.
After completing their rejuvenative treatment, which included meditation and various therapies, the royal couple departed Bengaluru on the morning following their three-day stay. The visit underscores King Charles's ongoing commitment to holistic health and well-being, as well as his deep interest in traditional Indian wellness practices.
