Actress Kiara Advani, known for her roles in Bollywood and South Indian cinema, is in the news for her upcoming film Game Changer. However, this time the buzz isn’t entirely positive. Recently, Kiara shared a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video on her social media, praising choreographer Jani Master. Her post, however, has sparked criticism from fans and internet users.

In the video, Kiara can be seen practicing dance moves for the song Dhop from the movie. The song had already created excitement among fans when it was released, and Kiara’s video added to the hype. In her post, she wrote about her experience working on the challenging choreography by Jani Master. She shared, “I remember seeing @alwaysjani master’s choreography and thinking, how are we going to do this? But that’s the beauty of our job, always learning something new.”
However, her praise for Jani Master didn’t sit well with many. For those unfamiliar, Jani Master, a renowned Telugu choreographer, is currently facing serious allegations. He was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act after a woman accused him of sexual assault. The accuser, a former employee who was 16 years old at the time of the alleged incident, stated that she had been raped and mentally harassed by him. Following these allegations, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting suspended Jani Master’s National Film Award, which he had won for choreographing the song Megham Karukkatha.
This controversy has led to a backlash against Kiara’s post. Many of her fans and other social media users expressed their disappointment in the comments section. One user remarked, “Tone-deaf, especially when even his national award was taken back after the uproar over granting him bail.” Another added, “The actors seriously don’t care about anything.” A third user commented, “The so-called cream of the crop is truly built differently. They come across as tone-deaf and completely lacking morals.”
Amid the backlash, the spotlight is still on Kiara’s upcoming movie, Game Changer. Shankar directed the film, which is highly anticipated and set to hit theatres on January 10, 2025. Alongside Kiara Advani, the star-studded cast includes Ram Charan, Anjali, Samuthirakani, S. J. Suryah, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, and Sunil. Despite the current controversy, fans are eagerly waiting to see the film on the big screen.
