The event was run by the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and followed the rules of the International Equestrian Federation and the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation. It was supported by Longines, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and other companies. These sponsors also helped with the smaller 2-star level competitions.

Many top horse riders from around the world came to this event. They competed to win part of the prize money, which was more than AED 2.3 million.

Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad thanked everyone who helped run the event. He said it was very well planned and helps show the world that Abu Dhabi is a great place for horse sports. He also said the riders were very skilled and showed great effort.

In the CSI2* competition (the smaller event), Georgia Tame from the UK came in first. Abdullah Mohammed Al Marri, a rider from the UAE, came second. Shane Breen from Ireland came third.

In the main CSI5* event, Cian O’Connor from Ireland won the Silver Cup, and Roger-Yves Bost from France won the Bronze Cup. Two riders from the UAE, Abdullah Mohammed Al Marri and Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi, came in eighth and ninth.

This event was a big success and showed the love for horses in the UAE. It also showed that Abu Dhabi is ready to welcome more big sports events in the future.
