GCC Chief Meets Kuwaiti Envoy, Talks on Stronger Gulf Ties and Unity

The head of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Albudaiwi, met with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, in Riyadh yesterday.

During the meeting, the ambassador gave Mr. Albudaiwi a letter from Kuwait's Foreign Minister, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya. The letter was an invitation to attend a big meeting between the GCC and Central Asian countries. This meeting will happen in Kuwait on April 16.

Mr. Albudaiwi thanked Kuwait for always helping the GCC and working hard to bring the Gulf countries closer. He said Kuwait’s good work shows how much it cares about teamwork and strong ties among Gulf nations. He also said that Kuwait is helping to make life better for the people in the region.

Both leaders talked about ways to work better together. They shared ideas on how to make the Gulf countries even more united, just like the leaders of the GCC want. They also spoke about what is happening in the Gulf region and around the world.

This meeting showed how the Gulf countries are trying to stay strong together and build good relationships with other nearby countries like those in Central Asia.
