Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, will be visiting India for two days – April 8 and 9. This is his first official visit to India as the Crown Prince.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) shared this news on Monday. Sheikh Hamdan is coming to India after receiving an invitation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister will also host a special working lunch for him on April 8.
During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan will meet with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. These meetings will focus on strengthening the relationship between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Crown Prince will be coming with a team that includes UAE ministers, top government officials, and a business delegation. He will take part in a business roundtable in Mumbai, where business leaders from both India and the UAE will discuss ways to grow trade and cooperation. This will include both traditional businesses and new industries of the future.
The MEA said this visit will help make the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership even stronger. It also shared that Dubai has always played a big role in India’s trade and cultural ties with the UAE.
A large number of Indians—around 4.3 million—live and work in the UAE, and most of them are in Dubai. This visit is expected to make the connection between the two countries even closer and more meaningful.
