Flydubai, a well-known airline from the UAE, has decided to stop flights from Dubai to two airports in southern Russia. This means that flights to Sochi will not be available until January 2, and flights to Mineralnie Vody will be stopped until January 3. The airline has said that these flights are being canceled because of "technical reasons."
This announcement came after a serious accident. An Azerbaijan Airlines plane, which was flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed in the city of Aktau, located in Kazakhstan. The crash has caused many people to ask questions, and early reports suggest that the plane was accidentally shot down by Russian air defenses.

After the crash, other airlines, including Kazakhstan’s Qazaq Air, Israel’s El Al, and Azerbaijan Airlines, have also stopped flying to some parts of Russia. This tragic accident has made many airlines more careful, leading to flight cancellations and changes in the region.
Although Flydubai has not said directly that the suspension of flights is because of the crash, the accident seems to have had an impact on the airline’s decision. Investigations are still ongoing to find out exactly what happened to the plane and why it crashed.
