Emirates has again shown why it is the best by winning many big awards at the World Travel Awards 2024. The airline won in many categories, such as ‘Best First-Class Airline,’ ‘Best Airline Brand,’ ‘Best Inflight Entertainment,’ and ‘Best Rewards Programme.’ It also won the World Travel Tech Awards 2024 for ‘Best Airline App Worldwide’ and ‘Best Airline App in the Middle East.’
This year has been amazing for the Emirates. The airline also won at the ULTRAs 2024, Telegraph Travel Awards, and Forbes Travel Guide’s Air Travel Awards. It was named a 2025 APEX World Class Airline, which shows its promise to always provide great service and bring new ideas.
The awards ceremony took place at the Savoy Palace in Madeira, Portugal. David Quinto, the Country Manager for Emirates in Portugal, received the airline's awards. The World Travel Awards is a big event that celebrates the best in travel and tourism. The World Travel Tech Awards highlight the best ideas in travel technology.
Emirates works hard to make its services better. It is updating 36 planes, including 26 A380s and 10 Boeing 777s, as part of a big program to give passengers a better experience. These planes will have new designs and Premium Economy seats, which many people like.

The First-Class cabins are excellent. They have private rooms, a ‘dine on demand’ service, and the famous A380 Shower Spa. Emirates also started ‘L’art du vin,’ a special wine course for its crew. This helps them serve great wines and rare types to passengers.
The airline’s inflight entertainment is also better now. Emirates works with Spotify to offer podcasts and playlists for passengers to enjoy during the flight.
The Emirates Skywards loyalty program is growing fast. Every month, 120,000 new members join. Now, it has 33 million members. Skywards lets passengers earn and use miles with over 200 partners, like airlines, hotels, and car rental companies. Members can use miles for flights, hotel stays, gift cards, upgrades, and special experiences.
Emirates is also making its digital services better. The Emirates app gives real-time flight updates, baggage tracking, airport maps, and a chance to look at cabins in 3D. Earlier this year, Emirates.com was ranked one of the fastest airline websites. It loads in under five seconds, according to a report by Catchpoint.
These awards and achievements show that Emirates is serious about being the best. By focusing on customer happiness, smart ideas, and great service, the airline stays a leader in global travel.
