Kuwait Airways and Emirates have agreed to work together more closely to give passengers more flight choices to Dubai and other places around the world. They signed a special agreement called a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Arabian Travel Market event held in Dubai.
The agreement was signed by Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan, Chairman of Kuwait Airways, and Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates. The event was also attended by important people like His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, and Sheikh Eng. Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, President of Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Other leaders from both airlines were also present.

Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan said he was very happy to sign this agreement with Emirates, calling it one of the biggest and best airlines both in the region and the world. He shared that this partnership will help improve flights between Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates and will also make travel easier for passengers. He welcomed Emirates as an important partner for Kuwait Airways and thanked Adnan Kazim and both teams for their hard work in making this happen. Al-Fagaan also mentioned that this deal will help build even stronger ties between the two countries.
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, said he is excited to work with Kuwait Airways. He explained that the partnership will give Kuwait Airways passengers more choices and easier connections to Dubai and to many other cities around the world through Emirates’ large network. He added that Emirates looks forward to offering even more benefits to customers as they continue to grow their partnership.
Emirates has been flying to Kuwait since 1989 and today operates 29 flights a week between the two countries. They use planes like the Airbus A350 and the Boeing 777, which have special cabins like Premium Economy and newly designed Business Class seats.
