Beyonce Kicks Off Cowboy Carter Tour in LA With Daughters

Beyonce began her new music tour called Cowboy Carter with a big concert in Los Angeles. The show took place at SoFi Stadium and was the first of 32 shows around the world. Many fans came to watch, and the show was full of lights, music, and special surprises.

This new tour comes a little more than a year after Beyonce released her eighth music album, also called Cowboy Carter. This album mixes country music with strong Black American music roots. It shows a new and brave style for Beyonce.

The album includes famous songs like “Blackbird” and “Jolene,” and also songs with popular singers like Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, and Shaboozey.

Beyonce first showed fans a bit of the Cowboy Carter show during a football game between the Texans and Ravens on Christmas Day 2024. She sang during the halftime show, and over 27 million people in the U.S. watched it on Netflix.

The Cowboy Carter album was fully released in March 2024. Two songs, “Texas Hold 'Em” and “16 Carriages,” came out early. “Texas Hold 'Em” went to number one on the country music chart. Beyonce became the first Black woman to do this.

In 2025, Beyonce won three Grammy Awards for this album, including “Album of the Year.” When she got the award, she said, “I feel very happy and thankful. It took many years. I thank the Grammys, the writers, singers, and producers who worked hard with me.”

A sweet moment at the LA concert was when Beyonce’s daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi, came on stage. They joined their mom for part of the show, and the crowd cheered loudly.
