The Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) made great progress in 2024, showing its focus on improving education in the UAE. The college saw a big 131% rise in student enrollment for the 2024–2025 school year, doubling its number of students. This growth shows that many people trust ECAE to prepare teachers who can shape the future.

ECAE proudly announced that all its graduates found jobs, proving that its courses are helping students learn skills that are needed. The college also trained 140 school leaders through a program to improve management and leadership in UAE schools.

The Continuing Education Center (CEC) trained over 17,000 teachers through nearly 350 learning programs. These programs gave teachers modern teaching ideas and future-ready skills. The center’s efforts added up to over seven million hours of learning and were approved by important UAE training groups.

In 2024, ECAE introduced a fresh plan and a new look to strengthen its goal of preparing teachers who can lead globally while respecting Emirati traditions. The college worked with Singapore’s National Institute of Education and continued its Strategic Framework for Educational Excellence, aiming to improve UAE education while matching global standards.

ECAE started special courses in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies to fix important gaps in UAE schools. Over 75 students joined these new courses. The college also added two new groups of students to meet the increasing demand. These changes show ECAE’s effort to keep improving and preparing teachers for tomorrow’s challenges.

The college became stronger in research by sharing more than 30 studies in famous journals, presenting over 100 talks at big events, and working on 16 active projects. These studies focused on key topics like math, early childhood learning, and new teaching tools. Research projects included using virtual worlds to solve math problems, trying new ideas for Arabic teaching, and helping schools include students with autism.

Other research looked at why fewer girls choose STEM subjects, how multimedia can help students learn, and ways to improve test scores using real-world data. ECAE teachers also wrote books and earned global praise, including being listed among the top 2% of scientists worldwide.

ECAE worked with 16 schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain through a project called LINC. This program helped schools use better teaching methods. The iLearn Forum let teachers and researchers share knowledge, and the iRead project encouraged students to enjoy reading and make it part of their learning.

The college’s mentorship programs supported teachers across the UAE. One program helped Arabic and Islamic Studies teachers become better at teaching and leading. ECAE also taught students about caring for nature with a summer camp and a mangrove planting activity.

At GITEX GLOBAL 2024, ECAE introduced modern teaching tools like virtual reality to show how technology can improve learning.
ECAE’s achievements in 2024 reflect its promise to train teachers who respect UAE values while meeting international standards. These efforts ensure that teachers are ready to handle modern challenges and make a real difference in the UAE’s future.
