More than 60,000 people came to watch the final show of the 29th Dubai World Cup at Meydan Racecourse. The show lasted for 20 minutes. It had many bright lights, fireworks, and almost 6,000 flying machines called drones. These drones used lights to make big shapes and pictures in the sky.

The drones showed 3D pictures of the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The drones also made pictures of horses running and the winner’s trophy.

This amazing drone show broke a world record. The Guinness World Records group said that the Dubai Racing Club made the largest flying LED screen using 5,983 drones. These drones showed videos and pictures in the sky, just like a normal big screen you see at events or in stores.

Last year, the same event also made a record using 4,000 drones. This year, they broke their own record with even more drones and a bigger, brighter sky show. The event showed how Dubai keeps using new and smart ideas to impress the world.
