The agreement was signed by Khalifa Al Zaffin, the head of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, and Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik, CEO of BT Holding. Also present at the signing were Nabil Al Kindi, CEO of Dubai South Properties, Malik Riaz Hussain, founder of Bahria Town, and other senior officials from both organizations.
This new gated community will include houses, townhouses, apartments, schools, hospitals, shopping areas, mosques, and places for fun and entertainment. The area will also have green parks, water streams, a central park, dancing fountains, wide roads, and landmarks to make it a relaxing yet exciting place to live.
Khalifa Al Zaffin said: “Dubai South will become the city of the future. Many people are interested in living here because it has a lot of potential. We are supporting the goal of having 1 million people living in this area when Al Maktoum International Airport is finished.”
He added that this project will show Dubai’s ability to attract investors and will create a new standard of luxury living for both residents and investors.
Malik Riaz Hussain, the founder of Bahria Town, shared his thoughts: “Dubai is growing very quickly and is now one of the most important places in the world. We are very happy to partner with Dubai South to build a modern, well-planned community here. We have experience in building large towns in Pakistan, and we want to bring this success to Dubai by creating a smart, modern community.”
He also said that they are excited to work with Dubai South to make this vision a reality.
Dubai South was created in 2006 by the Dubai Government. It covers 145 sq-km of land and is planned to be both a business hub and a living area. The area offers business opportunities and mixed-use spaces for people to live and work.
The new agreement with BT Holding is an important step to build a new community that is modern and self-sustainable. This gated community will have homes, parks, schools, entertainment spaces, and other modern facilities. It will give people a peaceful, modern lifestyle while offering opportunities for investors and future residents.
