Dubai Shopping Festival’s 30th Edition to Begin on 6 December

The 30th Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) will start on December 6, 2024, and end on January 12, 2025. This year’s festival will be the biggest and most exciting ever. For 38 days, Dubai will be full of fun, shopping, shows, and celebrations. The festival is run by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) and will have something special for everyone.

DSF will have amazing concerts, fireworks every day, drone shows, and events all across the city. There will be lots of shopping deals and prizes to win. It’s a time for families, friends, and visitors to enjoy unforgettable moments together.

The opening weekend will begin with the 321 Festival at the Coca-Cola Arena. On December 6, famous Arabic singers Kadim Al Sahir and Georges Wassouf will perform. On December 8, Coke Studio Live will bring more exciting music. Families can also go to City Walk from December 6 to 8, where there will be carnival activities, fun workshops, and performers entertaining visitors.

Every night during DSF, fireworks will light up the sky at Dubai Festival City Mall at 9:15 PM. In Hatta, there will be fireworks every Friday and Saturday at 8 PM. A big highlight this year is the drone show, with 1,000 drones flying twice daily at Bluewaters Island and The Beach, JBR, from December 6 to January 12. The drones will tell the story of Dubai’s past, present, and future in a stunning light show.

DSF Nights at Dubai Festival City Mall will bring live concerts with popular Arab stars. Ahmed Saad will perform on December 6, and Shamma Hamdan will perform on December 7. Families can also watch the IMAGINE light and water show, meet Modesh and Dana, and take part in daily raffles to win prizes. On Sundays, there will be live X Factor shows with talented singers and famous judges.

At Hatta Wadi Hub, visitors can enjoy light shows, live music, fireworks, and outdoor fun from December 6, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Another exciting event is the Thirty Seconds to Mars concert at the Coca-Cola Arena on December 12. Tickets start at AED 295.

Shopping is the main focus of DSF, and there will be great discounts, promotions, and raffles. Shoppers can win prizes like AED 1 million in the DSF Visa DIB Millionaire draw or AED 1.5 million in gold from the Dubai Jewellery Group. Other raffles include the Amber Millionaire, where shoppers can win one million Amber points.

For festive fun, head to Winter City at Expo City Dubai. Families can enjoy holiday crafts, cookie decorating, and other activities. At Meydan Racecourse, the Dubai Racing Carnival will bring thrilling horse races, live shows, and fine dining.
