Artists like Azza Al Qubaisi from the UAE, Aktham Abdul Hamid from Syria, Georgi Minchev from Bulgaria, and Liu Yang from China will show their work and different ways of making sculptures.

The event will have live sculpting shows and talks. On December 7, the talks will be about "The Evolution of Public Art: Sculptures in Urban Spaces" and "Sculpture as Cultural Storytelling." Dr. Saeed bin Mubarak Kharbash, CEO of Dubai Culture, said Dubai is becoming a place for creativity in many types of art. He also said that Dubai has always helped connect different cultures through art events. Dr. Kharbash said, "The Dubai Sculpture Symposium is special because it shows how sculpture can express creativity. It reflects the true spirit of different communities. By bringing together talented sculptors, the event lets them share ideas and show their work that inspires people. It also helps local artists grow the cultural and creative industries, which is a goal for Dubai Culture."

The event will not be open to children for safety reasons. It will also honor artists who have made important contributions to art.

The event is organized by the Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children, in partnership with Al Shindagha Museum, Sikka Platform, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Police, Dubai Ambulance, Dubai Civil Defence, Dubai Customs, and the International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA Dubai).
