The meeting served as a pivotal platform where sector-specific Business Groups and country-specific Business Councils affiliated with the chamber deliberated on strategies to enhance competitiveness and foster sustainable growth across diverse industries. Attendees were briefed on the chamber’s ongoing initiatives and future plans designed to bolster the private sector's role in Dubai’s economic landscape. In the first quarter of 2024, Dubai Chamber of Commerce conducted a series of impactful engagements, including 24 meetings with Business Groups and Business Councils. Noteworthy events during this period included the inaugural Annual General Meetings of the Polish Business Council and the Qazaqstan Business Council, underscoring the chamber’s commitment to expanding its international business network.

Additionally, the chamber collaborated closely with Business Groups in reviewing 33 laws and draft legislations, offering strategic recommendations that saw a commendable adoption rate of 45%. This collaborative effort underscores Dubai Chamber's proactive stance in advocating for policies that foster a conducive business environment and drive economic growth.

Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, emphasized the chamber's dedication to advancing the interests of Dubai’s business community. She highlighted the pivotal role of Business Groups and Councils in promoting dialogue between private sector stakeholders and government entities.
