Dubai’s position as one of the world’s top financial centres has been recognised in the latest Global Financial Centre Index (GFCI) rankings. The report highlights Dubai’s rapid progress, which is largely driven by the achievements of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) over the past 20 years.

The GFCI is a well-known and trusted ranking system published by Z/Yen Group in London. It evaluates 119 financial centres worldwide, using feedback from financial professionals along with detailed data on key factors such as infrastructure, business environment, and market performance.

For this edition, the index was based on 31,314 financial centre assessments collected from 4,946 financial experts who took part in the GFCI online survey. The rankings are regularly updated to reflect the changing conditions and opinions of industry professionals.
