Dubai Airports, along with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), is giving a warm welcome to travelers by stamping their passports with a special mark. This stamp has the ‘Zayed and Rashid’ logo. It honors the UAE’s Founding Fathers, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who helped build the UAE into a strong and successful country.
This is part of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign, started by Brand Dubai, the creative team of Dubai Media Office. The campaign was launched under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Many groups, including 53 government, semi-government, and private organizations, are working together on this campaign.
The campaign celebrates the work of Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid, who dreamed of a bright future for the UAE. Their hard work turned the UAE into a happy and modern country. The passport stamp is a way to thank these great leaders. It is also part of the UAE’s national celebrations, which started on November 3 with UAE Flag Day and will end on December 2 with Eid Al Etihad.
