The Municipal Council of Dibba Al-Hisn recently held a special meeting with the organising committee responsible for border crossings and checkpoints in the Emirate of Sharjah. The main goal of the meeting was to talk about how to make the border areas in Dibba Al-Hisn better and easier to use for people who cross them. They also discussed plans to improve the smooth movement of people and vehicles through these points.

The meeting was led by His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah bin Ya'ruf Al-Naqbi, who is the Chairman of the Municipal Council of Dibba Al-Hisn. Several important officials also attended, including:
His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Raisi, Director of Border Affairs and Chairman of the Organising Committee for Border Crossings in Sharjah
His Excellency Taleb Abdullah Al-Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al-Hisn Municipality
Colonel Walid Mohammed Al-Nahham, Head of the External Areas Police Department in Sharjah Police
Major Mohammed Al-Afari from the National Guard
Several other officers and government officials
What They Discussed
During the meeting, they talked about many important topics. These included:
Developing the border crossings on the corniche (the seaside area) and on the western side of Dibba Al-Hisn
Making the entrances and exits of the border points more beautiful with better landscaping
Adding more lighting around the border areas
Improving the roads that lead to and from these checkpoints
All of these changes are planned to make travel easier and more comfortable for everyone.
Strong Support from the Government
The border points in the Emirate of Sharjah receive regular support from the government. The Sharjah Government is always working to make services better and make border procedures faster and more efficient. This work follows the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. His continuous support helps improve the way border operations are done and ensures the safety and security of everyone in Sharjah.
The meeting ended with a shared goal: to keep improving border facilities in a way that makes things easier and safer for everyone who uses them.
