Dangerous weather has hit several parts of the United States, with tornadoes and thunderstorms causing a lot of damage. At least seven people have died so far. Weather experts say more heavy rain is expected in the coming days, which could lead to even worse problems like flooding.

In Tennessee, a man and his teenage daughter lost their lives when a powerful storm destroyed their home in the western part of the state. In Indiana, a man died after his truck hit some power lines that had fallen because of the storm. There were also deaths reported in Missouri.

These storms are part of a larger weather system that started on Wednesday and continued into early Thursday. They brought strong winds, heavy rain, and tornadoes to many areas.

Thousands of people are now without electricity, and many homes have been damaged or destroyed. In some places, emergency workers had to rescue people from rising floodwaters on Thursday. The rain is expected to continue for several more days.

The situation is especially dangerous for people living in the countryside, where water can quickly rush down from the hills and flood the lower areas. Local officials are warning everyone to stay alert and be prepared in case the weather gets worse.
