Kevin De Bruyne has said that he will leave Manchester City when this season ends. The 33-year-old football player from Belgium shared this message with fans on Instagram.

De Bruyne joined Manchester City in 2015. He came from a German team named Wolfsburg. Since then, he has helped City win many big matches and trophies. In total, he has won 16 trophies with the club. These include six Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2023.
He has also been chosen as the best player in the Premier League two times.
In his message, De Bruyne wrote:
"I want to tell you all that these will be my last months as a Manchester City player. It is hard to say this, but as football players, we all know this day will come. That time is now — and I wanted you to hear it from me first."
He also said,
"Every story must end one day, but this was the best part of my life."
For many months, people were guessing if he would stay or go, because his contract was going to end soon. Now, it is clear that he will leave after the season.
De Bruyne has been one of City’s most important players. He is known for his smart passes, strong runs, and hard work. Many fans will feel sad, but they will always remember what he gave to the team.
