The plan is to build a powerful cloud system that can handle more than 11 million online actions every day. These include services used by Abu Dhabi Government departments, citizens, residents, and businesses. The goal is to make these services quicker and easier to access.
Ahmed Al Kuttab said that technology can change how governments help people. It can make services simpler, faster, and more useful. He said this project is an important step in making Abu Dhabi’s government more modern. By using Microsoft’s cloud skills and G42’s AI knowledge, the government plans to create a strong platform that will offer better public services.
Abu Dhabi aims to become the first government in the world fully powered by AI by 2027. This means all government processes will be automated. The plan also aims to make government services more clear and safe for businesses and investors, while helping government workers become more efficient and innovative.
Satya Nadella praised Abu Dhabi for being bold in using AI. He said AI will change how governments work, and Abu Dhabi is leading this change. Through this deal with the Abu Dhabi Government and G42, Microsoft hopes to help create a model that other governments can follow.
The Abu Dhabi Government is investing AED13 billion (US$3.54 billion) into building better digital systems under its 2025-2027 Digital Strategy. The goal is to use AI in all government services, making them faster and more eco-friendly.
One of the main projects under this plan is TAMM 3.0, an app that provides all government services in one place. The app has cut down the need for people to visit government offices by 90% and made over 73% of transactions instant.
Peng Xiao from G42 said this deal is a big step toward making Abu Dhabi the first fully AI-driven government. He said Core42’s cloud system, powered by Microsoft Azure and controlled by G42’s Insight platform, will help the government keep its data safe while using the latest cloud technology. He explained that this project is not just about technology – it is about creating a strong and modern digital system that will support Abu Dhabi’s future plans.
This partnership shows how Abu Dhabi is using AI and cloud technology to make its government services better, faster, and more helpful. It also shows the emirate’s goal to become a leader in digital technology, offering high-quality services and improving people’s.
