WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram faced problems on Wednesday evening because of a "technical issue," as Meta said. The issue caused these apps to stop working for people all over the world. After a few hours, the problem was fixed, and the apps are working again.

Meta posted on X, saying, “Thanks for being patient with us! We’re 99% done—just checking the final details. Sorry to anyone affected by the problem.”
People from many areas, including the UAE, said the apps are back to normal now.
At the time the issue was worst, over 23,900 people reported problems with Facebook, and 72% of them said they couldn’t use the app, according to Downdetector.
Instagram also shared a post on X, saying, “Andddd we’re back—sorry for the wait, and thanks for being patient.”
The problem stopped people from sending WhatsApp messages, looking at Instagram posts, and opening Facebook. Meta didn’t give a specific time for when everything would be fully back to normal but said they are working to solve any remaining issues.
This shows how much people depend on Meta’s apps to stay connected every day. Now that the problem is fixed, people can go back to using the apps as usual.
