Malaysia’s Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, has said that the country must be fully ready to face any global economic problems, especially after the recent decision by the United States to increase tariffs.
He explained that the government must act quickly and carry out all plans without delay to make Malaysia’s economy stronger. This will help the country stay safe from outside problems or sudden changes in the world economy.

Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, shared this message in a post on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) after leading a special meeting about Sarawak’s development. The meeting was reported by Bernama, Malaysia’s national news agency.
During the meeting, they also talked about the Sarawak Gas Roadmap and the tax incentives offered by the Sarawak Development Bank. Anwar said these projects can help grow Sarawak’s economy and bring good results for the people of Malaysia as a whole.
