UAE & Montenegro Strengthen Ties in Key Sectors

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, met today with His Excellency Milojko Spajić, the Prime Minister of Montenegro, who is visiting the UAE for work.

During their meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to make the relationship between the UAE and Montenegro even stronger. They focused on growing their economic ties, encouraging more investments, and working together in areas like renewable energy, food security, infrastructure, technology, and tourism.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid welcomed the Montenegrin Prime Minister and his team. He emphasized the UAE’s dedication to building partnerships that help both countries achieve their goals. He also mentioned that the UAE is eager to work with Montenegro on projects that promote innovation, sustainability, and the sharing of knowledge and expertise.

The two leaders also talked about the situation around the world and in their region. They agreed that it’s important for countries to work together to maintain peace and stability, and to solve problems like climate change, sustainable energy development, and global economic challenges.

Sheikh Mohammed praised the progress made in the UAE-Montenegro relationship, especially through agreements signed during the Prime Minister’s visit. These agreements are expected to help both countries grow economically, attract more tourists, and increase investments, which will benefit people in both nations.

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić expressed Montenegro’s desire to strengthen its relationship with the UAE. He said that his country is ready to take advantage of new opportunities that match the economic goals of both countries.

The UAE and Montenegro have been friends since they established diplomatic ties in 2008. Recently, both countries have been working together even more, with the public and private sectors helping to grow their relationship.

The meeting was also attended by other important figures, including His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports; His Excellency Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Her Excellency Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; and His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of the Dubai Ruler’s Court.
