Early Wednesday, Donald Trump addressed an enthusiastic crowd at the West Palm Beach Convention Center, celebrating his projected lead in the Electoral College over Kamala Harris. Although still shy of the required 270 votes, Trump expressed confidence after securing crucial states like North Carolina and Pennsylvania. "We're going to fix everything about our country," he declared, sparking cheers from his supporters.

During his speech, Trump made a lighthearted comment about Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who recently joined his campaign team. He joked about RFK Jr.'s role in a future administration, specifically in relation to energy policy, quipping, “RFK Jr. came in and he's going to help Make America Healthy Again. He’s a great guy, and we’re going to let him do it.” Trump added with a smile, “Bobby, stay away from the liquid gold. We have more liquid gold than any country in the world. Other than that, go have a good time, Bobby.” The playful jab brought laughter and applause from the crowd, excited to see Trump’s vision take shape.

Supporters echoed Trump’s energy, with one attendee declaring, “Trump’s win, I don’t care what he says, I’m celebrating.” Another supporter praised RFK Jr. for his timing in joining Trump, saying, “Good for you, RFK—you joined at the right time.”

RFK Jr., who initially ran as an independent candidate, had suspended his campaign in August to align with Trump’s team. Since then, he has been a prominent presence at Trump rallies, discussing his commitment to health and environmental reform. In October, Trump acknowledged RFK Jr.’s dedication to health issues but clarified that Kennedy would not influence oil and gas policy. Instead, Kennedy may focus on health and agriculture, with potential roles overseeing departments like Health and Human Services, should Trump secure the presidency.

At one point, Trump turned his gratitude to the American people, proclaiming, "I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president and your 45th president." He continued, “We’re going to help our country heal. We’re going to fix everything about our country.” Trump closed by describing the night as historic, adding, “This will truly be the golden age of America.”

The event, held close to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, included close family and friends, including his wife Melania, daughter Ivanka, son Barron, and friends like Elon Musk. With this message of optimism, Trump conveyed his vision for what he hopes will be a transformative era for America.
