Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, also expressed his congratulations to the students, parents, and teachers for their efforts and perseverance. He highlighted the importance of excellence in education as a cornerstone for the country's progress and prosperity.
The top-performing students, recognized under the Elite Stream, have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and are poised to pursue opportunities at leading local and international universities.
Among the honored students is Ms. Alzaabi from Al Mumeneen School in Fujairah, who expressed relief and happiness upon learning of her achievement as the top student. She excelled in subjects like calculus, physics, chemistry, biology, English, and Arabic, achieving remarkable scores throughout the year.
"I'm very inspired by female ministers and aspire to contribute to my country," Ms. Alzaabi said, expressing her desire to pursue a degree in chemical engineering at Khalifa University.
In the MOE curriculum, students completing grade nine can opt for the advanced stream, which provides specialized instruction in mathematics and sciences. This track is designed for academically outstanding students aiming for careers in fields such as medicine and engineering.
Waleed Al Asadi, a student at International Private School Abu Dhabi, achieved top scores in the advanced stream and aspires to study medicine at UAE University. His outstanding performance, scoring 99.8% and 99.9% in terms one and two, reflects his dedication to pursuing a career as a surgeon.
Another high achiever, Abdallah Mohamed Mekhimar from Ras Al Khaimah School, expressed pride and gratitude for being recognized as one of the highest achievers in the country. With aspirations to study medicine, Abdallah scored exceptionally well in both terms and is eagerly awaiting his final results.
The UAE's commitment to nurturing academic excellence continues to be a cornerstone of its educational strategy, aiming to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to contribute to the nation's development across various sectors.
