The Sharjah Digital Department (SDD) has announced a significant partnership with ADRES Real Estate Services to bolster and enhance real estate services across the Emirate of Sharjah. This collaboration aims to streamline access to reliable and accurate information regarding the real estate sector through a unified platform. The partnership agreement was formalized by Engineer Lamiya Al Shamsi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Department, and Muath Maqbool, General Manager of ADRES Real Estate Services. The signing ceremony was graced by prominent figures, including Sheikh Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, Head of the Ruler's Office; Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah Digital Department; and Faisal Fulknaz, CEO of Financial Affairs and Sustainability at Aldar Properties Group.
This pivotal event took place during GITEX 2024, where the partnership's announcement coincided with the unveiling of the integrated real estate platform, "Aqari." This platform is designed to revolutionize real estate services in Sharjah, setting the stage for a qualitative shift in how these services are delivered to the public.
The "Aqari" platform is a crucial element of Sharjah’s digital initiatives, focused on facilitating seamless access to services. It will be available through various channels, including an electronic portal and user-friendly mobile applications compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems. By digitizing and simplifying real estate transactions, the platform aims to enhance transparency and foster economic growth within the emirate.

Key features of the "Aqari" platform will include a unified database for all properties, streamlining services such as lease contracts, property ownership transfers, agency management, and dispute resolution. Additionally, it will facilitate essential processes like buying, selling, mortgaging, and issuing property certificates. This comprehensive approach is expected to develop a robust real estate ecosystem that significantly improves customer experience while providing decision-makers with a holistic view of the market.
Set to launch in December 2024, the "Aqari" platform will initially focus on property leasing services. This includes the endorsement and renewal of lease contracts, issuance of clearance certificates, and investment contract management. In the initial phase, the emphasis will be placed on rental services and effective dispute resolution, with plans to integrate a broader range of real estate services in subsequent phases.
Overall, the introduction of the "Aqari" platform marks a substantial step forward in the digital transformation of the Emirate of Sharjah, delivering effective and user-friendly real estate services to the public.
