Riyadh – After a very successful debut in 2024, the SaudiFood Manufacturing exhibition is all set to return for its second edition. The event will take place from April 13 to 15 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre. This year, the exhibition will be even bigger, bringing together top international brands, expert speakers, and visitors from around the world.
The event will be held under the support of His Excellency Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources. It is also backed by the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), which returns as a Strategic Partner.
SaudiFood Manufacturing is the first and only event in the Kingdom that focuses fully on food and beverage (F&B) manufacturing. It covers everything from food processing and packaging to ingredients, automation, and supply chain solutions. The aim is to bring the whole industry together to talk about the future of food production—one that is smarter, more efficient, and better for the environment.
This year, over 550 top brands from around the world will take part in the show. Some well-known names include Allagro, Al Wataniya, Anasia, Azelis, Brenntag, Buhler, FSL, Kanoo, Kaydee, MEPEQ, Multivac, Napco, Novonesis, Provisur, Reda, Sapin, and UCIC. There will also be country pavilions featuring companies from France, Netherlands, UK, Türkiye, India, Switzerland, Spain, Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, China, and Italy.
The event comes at a time when Saudi Arabia’s food sector is growing rapidly. The food industry in the Kingdom is now worth around $55 billion, and the number of food industry companies has grown by more than 31% in recent years. The country is working hard to make its food industry stronger and more self-reliant. In fact, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) plans to produce 85% of the country's food locally by 2030.
One of the highlights of the event will be the Food Forward Summit, which will bring together top experts from around the world. These speakers will share their knowledge about the newest ideas, technologies, and trends in food production.
Trixie LohMirmand, CEO of KAOUN International, the company organizing the event, said,
“SaudiFood Manufacturing has quickly become one of the most important trade events in the region. It has attracted leading companies from around the world. It’s a great place for the food industry to grow and become a key part of Saudi Arabia’s economy.”
The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) also plays a key role. As the Strategic Partner for the second year, MODON is helping the food manufacturing sector grow by supporting events like this one. This support is part of its larger mission to improve food security, increase food exports, and help achieve the goals of the National Industrial Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
