The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) welcomed a group from Dubai Airports to visit the Enterprise Command and Control Centre (EC3). This visit was meant to "Please display the delegation." how EC3 helps manage traffic and transportation in Dubai, especially when big events are happening in the city.
During the visit, the group learned how EC3 helps make important decisions about How to Run different transportation services and how it connects with other control rooms. The centre uses smart technology to watch over the traffic in Dubai and helps plan how transportation services will work. This makes sure everything works together well, from cars and buses to trains.
The visitors also saw some special rooms inside the centre. There are rooms called the gold and silver control rooms, and the central control room. They also visited a special room that manages rainwater buildup. This room is very important because it helps stop floods and makes sure heavy rain doesn’t cause problems for people driving on the roads. The team in this room sends out warnings to drivers when it starts to rain heavily so that they can stay safe.

EC3’s main goal is to help make Dubai the smartest city in the world when it comes to transportation. The centre uses the newest technology, like big data, to make quick and smart decisions. This helps keep traffic flowing smoothly and safely.
RTA also explained that Dubai’s airports are very busy because millions of people travel in and out of the city every year. So, it’s very important to make sure transportation is working well for everyone. This includes both people who live in Dubai and those who are visiting the city.
RTA was very pleased with the visit from Dubai Airports and said it was a great way for both organizations to share ideas and learn from each other. By working together, they can make transportation in Dubai even better and safer for everyone. This will help keep the city running smoothly and make sure visitors and residents can travel easily.
