Fans were disappointed to learn that the movie could now be downloaded for free from torrent websites like Filmyzilla, Movierulz, and Tamilrockers. The film is available in various versions, including 1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p, 240p, and HD. Fans took to social media to express their anger, with some posting comments like, "Game Changer HD print leaked. What are you doing?" and "Why is Game Changer full HD movie leaked?" Many were upset that the film was being pirated so soon after its release.

This leak comes just after the release of other films like Barroz, directed by Mohanlal, and Marco, starring Unni Mukundan, which also faced similar piracy issues.

Despite the piracy, the film has received positive reviews from audiences and critics alike. On social media, people are praising Ram Charan's performance, calling it a standout role. Movie critic Rohit Jaiswal described Game Changer as a “complete Ram Charan show” and praised his charisma and intensity in the role. He also mentioned that the film is better than expected and highlighted some key moments, such as Ram Charan's entry scene, an exciting interval sequence, and a surprising plot twist toward the end.
