They also decided to visit each other regularly to check on their progress.
A big part of their talks was about setting up a special area for trade and business in the Suez Canal Economic Zone. Egypt and Indonesia will work together with both government and private companies to make it a success.
President Sisi also said that around 15,000 Indonesian students study at Al-Azhar University in Egypt. Egypt is happy to have them and is ready to welcome even more students from Indonesia.
President Subianto said Indonesia values its friendship with Egypt. He also thanked Egypt for sending help to Gaza and supporting peace in the region.
Both leaders agreed that it is important to have peace and to solve problems through understanding and talks. They promised to keep working together for a better future.
