Mansoor bin Mohammed Attends 11th Dubai Helishow Edition

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, visited the 11th edition of the Dubai Helishow today. This premier event for the Middle East and North Africa highlights advancements in helicopter, Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL), and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technologies. Dubai Helishow 2024, which began on October 22 at Skydive Dubai, will run until October 24, featuring participation from 50 leading industry players.

During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor explored the various pavilions representing both local and international companies, where he gained valuable insights into the latest innovations in VTOL aircraft, UAVs, and helicopters. He praised the organization of the exhibition and emphasized its crucial role in showcasing the future of the drone and vertical flight sectors. The event serves as a dynamic platform for industry experts, military personnel, innovators, and business leaders to exchange knowledge and explore cutting-edge technologies and emerging trends in the rapidly evolving vertical flight market.

Among the notable stops during his tour was the Dubai Police pavilion, where Sheikh Mansoor received a detailed briefing on the 'Drone Box' drone platform and the 'DJI Dock 2' system. These projects are part of Dubai Police's strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing various police and security operations.

In addition to the exhibition, the Dubai Helicopter Conference 2024 is concurrently hosting a series of specialized sessions featuring leading industry experts. These discussions are aimed at sharing knowledge and exploring future trends, with a particular focus on significant advancements in hybrid and electric helicopters, AI integration, and developments in civil aviation.
