The Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards (Marinas Edition) took place on November 23, 2024, at the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show. The event was held under the leadership of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and celebrated the best marinas in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey.
The awards recognized the top marinas in different categories. D-Marin Göcek from Turkey won the gold award in the Customer Experience category. Dubai Creek Marina from the UAE earned silver, and Jeddah Yacht Club from Saudi Arabia won bronze.

For the Employer Excellence award, Palm Jumeirah Marina from the UAE took gold, while Yas Marina from the UAE won silver, and Aldar Marinas from the UAE claimed bronze.
In the Health and Safety category, Dubai Harbour Marina from the UAE won gold, Palm Jumeirah Marina from the UAE took silver, and Emirates Palace Marina from the UAE received bronze.
For Innovation, Yas Marina from the UAE won gold, Dubai Harbour Marina from the UAE earned silver, and The Pearl Island Marina from Qatar took bronze.
The Sustainability award went to D-Marin Didim from Turkey for gold, The Pearl Island Marina from Qatar received silver, and Ayla Marina from Jordan won bronze.
The Outstanding Marina award, which is the top prize, went to D-Marin Turgutreis from Turkey. D-Marin Göcek from Turkey won silver, and D-Marin Didim from Turkey won bronze.
A special prize, the Most Popular Marina, voted by the public, was given to Ayla Marina from Jordan, earning gold. The Pearl Island Marina from Qatar took silver, and Abu Dhabi Marine from the UAE won bronze.
This year, the awards saw 120 entries from eight countries, which is three times more than last year, showing that the event is growing in importance.
Dr. Saif Al Nasri, Undersecretary of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, said the awards help improve marina services and promote safety, sustainability, and new ideas. They also strengthen Abu Dhabi as a top place for maritime activities.
Captain Saif Al Mheiri, CEO of Abu Dhabi Maritime, said the awards encourage progress and set new standards for marinas. He thanked all winners and participants.
Abu Dhabi Maritime works to protect the waters of Abu Dhabi and support the growth of the maritime industry. The awards show their commitment to making Abu Dhabi a leading place for maritime activities.
