M42 broadens services of Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital to all.

The Zayed Military Hospital in Al Batayeh, Sharjah, has been renamed Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital starting from January 1, 2025. The hospital is now open to serve people from all over the northern emirates, in addition to the UAE military and their families.

The hospital will continue to help the UAE military but will also provide top-quality healthcare to everyone in the northern parts of the country. This change is part of M42's plan to make healthcare more accessible and better for everyone in the UAE.

Doctors from M42’s hospitals, including well-known centers like Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Amana Healthcare, Mubadala Health Dubai, and Healthpoint, will work at the hospital to offer the best treatments.

The hospital is large, with 200 beds and a building area of 45,000 square meters. It will have many services, such as six operating rooms, a pharmacy, a lab, and a radiology department. There will also be an emergency room and an intensive care unit (ICU). Some of the services the hospital will offer include family medicine, heart care, diabetes management, and more.

Major General Dr. Aysha Sultan Aldhaheri, head of Military Health at the Ministry of Defence, said that working with M42 will help improve healthcare in the UAE. She said this partnership will help give people the best medical care when they need it.

Hasan Jasem Al Nowais, the CEO of M42, said that M42 wants to provide healthcare that focuses on preventing problems and offering the right treatment. He is proud that the hospital will now help people in the northern emirates by providing world-class care.

The hospital will also offer health programs to help people stay healthy. These programs will include health education, regular check-ups, and personal care to help everyone stay healthy.

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital is now ready to provide healthcare to many people in the northern emirates, ensuring everyone has access to good health services.
