Punjabi singer Karan Aujla, who is famous for his song Tauba Tauba from the movie Bad Newz, is ready to start his India tour called It Was All A Dream. The tour will start on December 7, 2024, in Chandigarh. But before the tour, he has got into some legal trouble.
A professor from Chandigarh, Panditrao Dharnevar, has filed a complaint against Aujla. He says that some of Aujla's songs show bad things like alcohol, drugs, and violence. The professor is especially worried about songs like Chitta Kurta, Few Days, Adhia, Bandook, Alcohol 2, and Gangsta. He thinks these songs could have a bad influence on young people.

The professor has asked Aujla not to sing these songs during his concert. If Aujla performs them, the professor says he will file a lawsuit against the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and the Director General of Police (DGP) of Chandigarh for letting the concert happen.
This is similar to what happened with singer Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit was asked by the Telangana government to stop singing about alcohol during his Dil-Luminati Tour. Diljit changed the lyrics of some songs, like 5 Tara Theke to 5 Tara Hotel and Daaru 'Ch Lemonade to Coke 'Ch Lemonade. He also joked that if all liquor stores were shut down in India, he would stop singing about alcohol for good.
Karan Aujla’s tour, It Was All A Dream, will go to eight cities across India in December. After Chandigarh on December 7, Aujla will perform in Bengaluru on December 13, New Delhi on December 15, and Mumbai on December 21.
Aujla, who lives in Vancouver, is one of the most popular singers in modern Punjabi music. His songs like Softly, White Brown Black, and Tauba Tauba from Bad Newz are loved by many people. Fans in India and other countries are excited to see him perform live.
