FLY91 Boosts Sindhudurg-Pune Flights to 5x Weekly for Summer Travel

Ahead of the summer vacation season, regional airline FLY91 has announced that it will now operate flights between Sindhudurg and Pune five times a week. Until now, the airline was flying this route only twice a week. This move is expected to help more people visit the beautiful Konkan region in Maharashtra and give a strong push to local tourism.

Manoj Chacko, the Managing Director and CEO of FLY91, said, “Our main goal is to make it easier for people to travel between smaller cities and towns. By increasing flights on the Sindhudurg-Pune route, we hope more tourists will discover Sindhudurg, and it will also help the local businesses grow. People living in Sindhudurg will now have better access to a big city like Pune. We are even planning to start daily flights in the future, depending on demand and airport facilities.”

Capt Jai Singh Sadana, the Chief Adviser and Head of Sindhudurg Airport, also welcomed the decision. He said, “This new flight schedule will not only make it easier for Sindhudurg locals to travel to Pune for work or education, but will also bring in more tourists from Pune and nearby areas to explore this hidden coastal gem.”

FLY91 first started the direct flight between Pune and Sindhudurg on August 30 last year. This was the first time Pune got connected to the scenic Konkan region by air. With the new schedule, more people will be able to travel comfortably and quickly, making the summer holidays more enjoyable for everyone.
