ENOC Group, a leading global energy company, has achieved impressive results in reducing energy use through its Energy & Resource Management (E&RM) efforts. Over the past ten years, from 2014 to 2024, the company saved a total of AED 395 million by cutting down on energy consumption. This also helped prevent the release of 703,840 metric tonnes of greenhouse gases, supporting the fight against climate change.
To show its dedication to protecting the environment, ENOC took part in Earth Hour 2025 on March 22. The company switched off all non-essential lights at its headquarters, service stations, and operational sites from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, joining millions around the world in raising awareness about energy conservation.

Energy Savings Across Business Units
ENOC made significant energy savings across its different business units in 2024 through specific efficiency projects:
ENOC Processing Company (EPCL) led the way by saving AED 2.3 million through various energy and resource-saving measures.
The Retail division also made a major contribution by introducing solar-powered LED lights at its service stations and AutoPro sites. This project alone saved AED 3.1 million.
Corporate Real Estate (CRE) helped reduce costs by AED 539,448, while Emirates Gas achieved savings of AED 139,409.
Ongoing Sustainability Efforts
ENOC has been continuously working towards sustainability by adopting eco-friendly practices. These include:
Installing solar panels at its facilities to generate clean energy.
Replacing traditional lighting with energy-efficient LED lights across its operations.
Introducing water-saving systems to use this vital resource more efficiently.
Following green procurement standards to reduce energy demand and lower emissions throughout its supply chain.
These initiatives reflect ENOC's strong commitment to protecting the environment while also boosting its operational efficiency. The Group continues to set new standards for sustainability in the energy sector, helping the UAE move closer to its green energy goals.
