Emirates adds seven new destinations in A350 network expansion

Emirates has announced the next seven cities that will soon be served by its A350 aircraft. As more newly delivered planes with the airline’s latest cabin features enter regular service, passengers can look forward to enjoying upgraded travel experiences.

With this latest expansion, Emirates is adding more short- and medium-haul destinations in the Middle East, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and Europe. For the first time, the airline will also introduce the A350 on routes to Africa and Southeast Asia.

A350 to Bring More Comfort and Choice
Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline, highlighted the importance of this expansion. He said, “Our strategic deployment of the A350 across different regions, including the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia, makes use of the aircraft’s flexibility and fuel efficiency. It also allows us to offer more customers access to our premium travel options. Passengers will be able to experience our latest cabin designs, including Business Class and Premium Economy, along with several thoughtful enhancements across all cabins. These features will now be available in more cities than ever before.”

He added, “Bringing this aircraft into our network and combining it with our existing routes will help Emirates maintain a strong competitive edge. We aim to remain the top choice for travelers seeking excellent connectivity and superior onboard experiences that no other airline can match.”

New Destinations and Schedules
Emirates will introduce its A350 fleet on the following routes:

  • Tunis: Starting June 1, Emirates will fly the A350 to Tunis six times a week (every day except Tuesday) on flights EK 747/748.
  • Amman: Daily A350 flights to Amman will begin on June 1, operating as EK 905/906.
  • Istanbul: The A350 will make its first landing in Istanbul on July 1. It will operate daily on flights EK 117/118.
  • Dammam (Saudi Arabia): From July 1, the A350 will debut in Saudi Arabia, flying to Dammam on EK 827/828.
  • Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam): Emirates will introduce the A350 to Southeast Asia for the first time on August 1. The aircraft will serve Ho Chi Minh City daily on flights EK 364/365.
  • Baghdad: From August 3, the A350 will fly to Baghdad three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday) on flights EK 941/943.
  • Oslo: On September 1, the A350 will make its first appearance in Oslo, Norway, operating daily on EK 159/160.

Emirates has also announced plans to expand A350 services to other destinations in the coming months as more aircraft are added to its fleet.

Expanded A350 Services in the Region
In addition to the new destinations, Emirates will increase A350 flights to Bahrain and Kuwait:

  • Bahrain: From June 1, Bahrain will become almost fully served by A350s, with the addition of a third daily flight (EK 835/836).
  • Kuwait: From October 1, Emirates will operate a second daily A350 flight to Kuwait on EK 857/858.
  • Bologna: Emirates will introduce the A350 to Bologna on June 1, a month earlier than previously announced.

Flights to these new A350 destinations are now open for booking through the Emirates website, mobile app, retail stores, or travel agents.

Luxurious Features of the A350
Emirates’ A350s are designed with three cabin classes, accommodating 312 passengers. The aircraft offers:

  • 32 Business Class seats with a 1-2-1 layout, fully flat beds, and a mini-bar for quick snacks.
  • 21 Premium Economy seats, providing extra comfort and legroom.
  • 259 Economy Class seats with generous space and comfort.

The new aircraft also comes with state-of-the-art technology and in-flight entertainment features, including:

  • Wireless charging in Business Class.
  • Electric window blinds with Emirates’ signature Ghaf tree design in Premium cabins.
  • Touchscreen call buttons on in-flight entertainment screens.
  • Digital menus on seat screens.
  • 60-watt USB-C charging ports in every seat, with the option to pair two Bluetooth devices for personal headphones.

The next-generation ice entertainment system with 4K and 4K HDR screens, offering cinema-quality visuals and smoother navigation.
With these new services, Emirates continues to enhance its passenger experience, offering more comfort, better connectivity, and the latest technology on board.
